the first one said i'd be the Weasely Twins. (that'd be your mischievous older brothers,
if you were Ginny Weasely.)

second one said Ron Weasely.

third one says Harry Potter.

I just did the first quiz, and I'm Ron Weasley. That strange that you're a different
character with each quiz. Sure you can be part of the sitcom, Pinar! Hmmm, let me think
of a good plot and I'll get back to you on the characters.

Jess, I'm definitely anticipating this plot now. You can get Stephanie to help you if you want. Either way, do not
disappoint me, ladies. ;)

Jeremy, I got your IM last night. Sorry I wasn't around. I had managed to knock myself out while reading up on
the wonderful world of lung cancer. :rolls eyes: Anyways, I guess it kinda makes sense that I got those three
people. I mean they're all friends so they must have a lot in common. Not that I know anything about any of the
characters, but why'd you say I was most like Ginny?

I did see the Halloween thing. Marc Summers's candy house was a mess! And Rachael is so
cute. I want to hang out with her just so she'll laugh around me. That yummy mummy did
look good. But hi, cooking that chicken on a stake for an hour will only get you silly
manilly, Emeril!

Pinar, I see no reason why you can't be a regular on the show, like Larry or Mr. Furley.
Or Lana who was the neighbor slut who was always after Jack. I will be thinking about
that. ;)

the ones you haven't read are the best ones seven!

i said you'd be ginny weasely, pinar, because she's smart, and assertive, and cute (at
least i imagine her as a little cutie) and cunning, and funny, and witty. she's not
afraid to be who she is, shortcomings and all. and she can kick people in the pants when
they need it, and be a comforting friend when they need it. i guess those all sorta
describe you (although the other characters have similarities with you as well).

I guess that's me for the most part, especially if you think "cute" = "looks 10 years younger than her real age."
The only thing I'd strongly disagree with is the "assertive" part. Not sure why you got that impression of me, but
take my word that I'm not a very assertive person at all. In fact, I'm downright passive compared to most other
women I know. I despise the thought of manipulating others in any way. I avoid conflict like the plague. Live and
let live is my life's motto. The only times I'll get defensive are for my friends or other people whom I respect.
Everything else I (stupidly) internalize. Call me Dr. Doormat. :rolls eyes:

Also, just had to say that I was over at a friend's house last night. We spent most of the time watching the new
Rush DVD (I wasn't kidding when I said I actually enjoy this band). Anyway, I don't know how Harry Potter came
up, but she pointed to this stack of books in her room and told me her other friends have lent her the entire
series (though she hadn't begun reading them just yet). I've gotta ask: is this some kind of disease??? It's gotten
to the point where these books can't possibly live up to the hype that I've heard.

Lastly, who would've known this thread would've survived for nearly as long as it has? Hi ho!

My drummer is a crazy Rush fan. I can appreciate it, but I can't stand to listen to
Geddy's voice for an extended period of time. Anywho....
I like the idea of the neighbor slut, but if you don't like it, Pinar, we'll understand.
We'll post a cast of characters and who our casting agent wants to cast from the board
very soon, right Steph?

Oh, garsh. :blushes: Thanks, Waggins, but save it 'til you meet me in person, okay? I mean, for all you know I'm
that same psychobitch in every man's nightmares.

Jess, I too have to take Rush in moderation. Geddy Lee ain't no Jeremy Enigk. Also, Rush's lyrics always sounded
really forced to me, probably because of the nature of their music. I do believe, however, that a lot of people
make the mistake of thinking about early Rush when they think of Rush in general and completely ignore all the
things they did after "Tom Sawyer," which is a shame because they did some excellent stuff as they matured. I'd
argue that's when they started putting more emotion into their pieces and stopped toying with all the Ayn Rand
and sci-fi things that they did early on. Not that there was anything wrong with that stuff, but it got old after
ten years. Most of my favorite pieces are actually from these later years, such as: "Afterimage," "The Pass,"
"Mystic Rhythms," "Animate," "Resist," "Dreamline," "Cold Fire," and "Chain Lightning," to name but a few.

Also, give me the details of this slutty neighbor role. What exactly will it entail?

psst, watch three's company. lana does anything in her power to get jack, other people
(including mr. furley) want her but she wants jack, she gets ahold of him, but never
really *gets* him. but she's a good slut with messy hair.

yeah, we need to talk to the casting agent. and maybe jeremy can pick out who he wants to
be persued by. i am curious.

Psst. I don't watch TV anymore. No time. Freakin' med school. Now and then I'll forsake some sleep for The
Simpsons. Aside from that, nada. And even if I did have the time, my parents don't get cable. They cancelled it
and opted to buy a satellite that tunes into all these foreign stations, mostly Turkish television for obvious
reasons. So I can easily watch, oh, say, plenty of Turkish programming, the Korean news channel, or some
soccer tournament in a country I've never even heard of, but am clueless about the latest domestic shows. I'm
not that heartbroken, though. I was never into sitcoms to begin with. My entire childhood can be summarized in
two phrases: Saturday morning cartoons and Nintendo. I didn't even get into music until I started playing flute
in 5th grade. Strange strange child I was. So you must forgive my ignorance on pop culture, ladies.

Anyways, I did manage to look this Lana slut up on the internet. Seems like the only thing I have in common
with her is the hair. Actually, I'm sure mine's much worse than hers. But hey, this'll definitely be an interesting
acting venture if I'm cast. If you want to know what Enigk would want (:coughnothingtodowiththiscough:), I
suggest asking Seth. He was channeling Jeremy for a good period of time a few months ago. As I remember it,
Seth caught Jeremy on one of Jeremy's waffle craving kicks. Yes, lots and lots of waffle references. I hope he
finally got his waffle fix or else we're not going to get a straight answer.

Whoa there! You sure things might not get a little too racy there, Seth/Jeremy?

I also wanted to add that I was attempting to study at my local library on Friday when I realized that I could
check out some Harry Potter books. They have them shelved in the children's section, so I had to go down there
to get them. Being in that part of the library made me realize how much fun being a kid was. And I'm sure, just
looking at me, most of the people there thought I belonged in that section anyways. It really got me thinking
about how I might be a good child and adolescent psychiatrist someday... and all because I went to get a Harry
Potter book. Go fig.

Anyways, I started reading the first novel (which was apparently released the year I graduated from high school-
has it been that long???). Haven't made too much progress, about 60 pages. So far, though, I'd have to say I like
the books more than the movies. The author has an interesting style, a really subtle, off-beat sense of (British?)
humor that I really dig. It's so neat that I almost think it's a shame most kids probably can't "get it" the way
adults do.

hey-your right. Jermy has a majic tric or two. like when his hair falls off and
majically grows again? how do you do that? I mean, do you use rogain or does it just
forget to grow sometimes? I guess for the summer is grows completely and for the winter
it's sort of patchy and half missing--kind of like how the trees loose their leaves for
the fall...it's only natural....

yeah, pinar. J.K.Rowling is definitely british. she is the richest person in Britain, in
fact.

anyway, her style reminds me of if Roald Dahl, C.S. Lewis and J.R.R.Tolkien wrote a story
together for children.

This is funny so I thought I'd mention it. I hate reading books. I think I voluntarily read a total of like maybe
around 10 full books as a child. They always put me right to sleep. They still do to this day. Don't know why.
And so of course I was voted "Class Bookworm" for senior superlatives in high school.

I will say, however, that C.S. Lewis never put me to sleep. Too bad I've forgotten all the stuff I've read. I guess
reading's just not my thing or something...
